Dominque Dunne appeared in several films and television series from 1979 to 1982, but was best known for portraying the oldest daughter in the 1982 horror film Poltergeist.
She seemed destined for stardom until tragedy struck on October 30, 1982. Dominique was strangled by her ex-boyfriend, John Thomas Sweeney, in the driveway of her West Hollywood home and went into a coma. She never regained consciousness and died five days later.

Erica Thomas's book The Murder of Dominique Dunne, is a good, if sometimes inaccurate, account of the vicious murder of the lovely and talented young actress. However, Thomas's book doesn't provide any information that isn't basically common knowledge on the murder of the young Poltergeist costar and the travesty of a court case that followed.Product details

more like a magazine article than a book. got my money refunded.
I just wish that it was a longer book. Some of the book was shocking to say the least.
Most of this came from People Magazine. Sure am glad I got this on Unlimited and didn't actually fork out money for this. Try Wikipedia instead.
This is a well-written account of the murder of young up-and-coming actress Dominique Dunne by her abusive, controlling ex-boyfriend, John Sweeney.
This is one of the reasons all children should be taught self-defense at an early age. Children should also be assured of their self-worth so they don't put up with this kind of behavior and don't forgive their abusers and "give them another chance." If that sounds un-Christian to you, you must believe Christ wants you to be abused and murdered.
A protective order is only a piece of paper.

Was a little short. I found it ok, I have always wondered what happened to Dominique Dunne other then her boyfriend killed her.. Also had some errors but not so much you can't look past.
